THE MARKET
The listed fleet is a fraction of the real one. A great many fine vessels are not for sale in the formal sense and would nevertheless be sold, at the right number, to a buyer the owner considers serious. Those boats never appear in a search. Reaching them is a matter of knowing who to call and being someone they will call back.
OUR NETWORK
Captains and chief engineers know the condition of a boat and the mood of its owner better than any listing. Yard managers know which refit was done properly. Family offices know when a vessel has become an expense nobody defends any more. We maintain those relationships year-round, in the Mediterranean and the Gulf, not only when we have a mandate.
WHAT WE VERIFY
Full condition and sea-trial survey by an independent surveyor of your choosing. Class and flag status, outstanding recommendations, and the maintenance and refit record. Ownership structure, registered mortgages and encumbrances. VAT and importation position, which is where most transactions go wrong. Charter history and crew continuity. Maritime counsel reviews the file before you commit.
HOW WE ARE ENGAGED
Under written mandate, to your specification of length, builder, year, condition, flag and intended use. We introduce you directly to the owner with the file prepared, and we stay involved through negotiation, closing, transfer and delivery.
